This one is a big job. We're working through a full mile of containment wall for the City of Tamarac, and the buildup on this surface tells the whole story of what South Florida weather does to exterior concrete over time. Dark algae, mold, and grime had taken over - turning what should be a clean, light-colored wall into something that looked neglected.
Here's what we were working with up close. The cap of the wall had thick black biological growth layered right into the surface. That's not just dirt - that's algae and mold that has been sitting and spreading. Left alone, it keeps growing and eventually works into the concrete itself, which creates real long-term damage that's far more expensive to fix than a cleaning.
A job this size requires the right setup. We've got the truck, the tank, and the equipment staged along the wall with traffic cones to keep the area safe for both our crew and passing traffic. Working a stretch this long means staying organized and keeping a consistent pace - every section gets the same attention, no cutting corners just to move faster.
The difference section by section is obvious. Where the pressure washing has been completed, the wall is bright and clean again. The stone accents at the base pop the way they're supposed to. This is what proper exterior surface pressure washing does - it doesn't just clean, it gives the surface back its original look and helps preserve the material underneath.
Large-scale municipal and commercial work is where you really see the impact of professional pressure washing. One mile of wall is a serious undertaking, and we're making sure every foot of it gets treated the right way.
